Bolt

This is one of those films that I really wish I had seen, because recently I just do not have the time to pay attention to movies like this anymore. When I say that I mean an animated movie, looking at the nuances that the team of creators has put into an animated film, 2D or 3D is just jaw dropping to me, also Bolt is really really cute in my opinion. 

The Sibling Rivalry of Sherlock and Mycroft

A friend had been making a request for a Sherlock drawing ever since May, and I finally obliged him only after a few months in the hopper. When he had asked for one this was only one of a few ideas that had sprung into my head having only seen the first season at the time. Seeing Mycroft and Sherlock interact this way reminded me a lot of the relationship with my brother, albeit me at a younger age. But the image of the two of them competing on Xbox of all things was just hilarious, personally. In the future I may do more Sherlock fan art, I have ideas for Moriarty, but none for John. I'll see how things go.

I had been mostly coasting along with artwork towards the end of my summer vacation, feeling generally unproductive and lethargic the entire time. Making maybe one or two pieces in a week. That shit's done, I'm devoting as much as, if not more, of my free time to illustrating now. I'll be taking suggestions from friends on what to make, sometimes, and sometimes they'll be my own spark. Either way I feel like devoting myself more wholly to drawing in a digital medium, and that starts right now.

This is Gilda of My Little Pony, I wanted to portray her in an innocent environment with a bit of humor thrown in for good measure, drafts began as her in a nest, and her on a cloud. But when this idea popped into my head it was too good not to use.
